Step inside this stunning heritage house and be inspired by the fusion of old-world elegance and contemporary flair. The thoughtful design decisions in this renovation showcase how to breathe new life into even the most cherished historical homes.
 

This remarkable project encompassed a comprehensive transformation of the main bathroom, kitchen, second bathroom, and laundry area. The owners, a young and well-travelled family with a deep appreciation for culture and interior design, sought expert guidance to harmonize every element seamlessly.

The interior design approach embraced light-hearted elements that the client sought after, such as the custom-designed mosaic patterned floor tiles in the bathroom and laundry splashback and the mix of glossy green subway tiles in the second bathroom. To pay homage to the heritage elements present in the house, the design incorporated Dulux Armada's rich green shade in the kitchen and bathroom cabinetry. This choice not only added depth and character but also responded brilliantly to the existing historical charm of the space and complemented the clients' existing art collection wonderfully.

Interior designer and founder of Simpson Interiors, Sarah, transformed the bathroom layout, imbuing it with an enhanced sense of spaciousness and functionality. Through skilful space allocation along one side of the bathroom, Sarah successfully alleviated clutter, while concurrently accentuating the custom-designed mosaic floor. As you walk the hallway of this exquisite heritage home, your gaze is effortlessly drawn to the captivating architectural intricacies, ultimately descending upon the playfully charismatic mosaic floor, infusing the front heritage section of the residence with a vibrant rejuvenation.
