We'll meet at your property to discuss design details and establish a project brief. If an in-person meeting isn't possible, we can work from architectural plans. After our meeting, we'll prepare a design proposal document for your review and approval before the project begins. This proposal will include an itemised list of furnishings and/or renovation costs for each area, as well as an overview of the design process and fees. This step ensures you have a clear understanding of the project's budget requirements. 

For both furnishings and renovation work, Simpson Interiors will create designs for each area outlined in the design proposal, including floor plans, 3D renders, and renovation documentation, to develop cohesive schemes aligned with our client's brief. Samples of finishes (such as tiles, paint colours, fabrics, etc.) will also be sourced when applicable. Subsequently, mood boards and samples will be presented for feedback. Once finishes and furnishings are approved, quotes and specification sheets for all items will be provided. 

Once the furnishings quote is approved and full payment is received, Simpson Interiors will place the orders and coordinate delivery dates with the client. A live delivery spreadsheet will be provided with updates on arrival times and tracking. An on-site installation and styling date will be arranged to position and style furnishings and accessories, bringing the project to life. If necessary, furniture assembly, rubbish removal, and picture hanging can be organised with external contractors. 

This process makes sure the final result matches the original design while adapting as needed. It involves:

• Getting quotes from contractors.
• Meeting regularly with the construction team to keep the design on track.
• Inspecting the site to ensure everything matches the design.
• Handling design issues that come up during construction.
• Working with architects, contractors, and tradespeople to get things right.
• Making necessary changes while keeping the design intact.
• Acting as a go-between for our client's and the construction team to bring the client's vision to life.
