Drummoyne House

Set in the heart of Drummoyne, this Federation home was thoughtfully renovated to suit our client Emma and her family as their forever home. Through a tailored interior design plan, we improved functionality while preserving original character. The kitchen renovation removed the laundry wall and introduced the island bench Emma had always wanted, creating space for family living and entertaining. We also combined the bathroom and laundry, and created a first floor parents’ retreat.
Simpson Interiors delivered full interior design support, curating furnishings and guiding renovations throughout Emma’s home. We selected the exquisite Adana marble and maximised each slab across the kitchen and bathrooms for a cohesive finish and efficient material use. Bold cabinetry in Dulux Ticking paired beautifully with the marble’s grey and soft pink tones, complemented by brushed nickel tapware. The result was a premium, high end interior renovation with a luxurious, elevated feel.
“Sarah helped us create the kitchen and parents’ retreat of our dreams. She quickly understood our brief and was invaluable in navigating the inevitable and unexpected hurdles of renovating. She was responsive, understanding, and always willing to help. Her creative direction was a huge asset, and I trusted her with so many of the micro decisions that a novice renovator is never prepared for. I loved working with Sarah on our renovation and hope to work with her again one day.”
